Young Business Leaders

The Young Business Leaders of CT (YBLCT) is an informed group of young business leaders engaged in community life, expanding professional and social opportunities, and serving as ambassadors for the state of Connecticut. This group is geared toward professionals between the ages of 21 and 39, however, the young at heart are always welcome. YBL Fundraising supports the Dan M. Hunter Community Service Education Award. This award is given annually to an area graduating high school student who shows exemplary grades in the classroom, above average participation in school-related activities, and has proven to be a valued asset to the community in which he/she lives or attends school. The guidelines of this award are based on the ideals of Dan Hunter, who believed in hard work, family, and serving his community. 

YBL will be partnering with the Meriden Humane Society this year to host events and raise money for their animals in need.

Adopt a Family: We adopted a family in need for the holidays once again in 2023, in partnership with the United Way of Meriden/Wallingford.

February 13-14, 2023

Members of YBL from NESSO Group facilitated the first Lunch & Learn at Meriden Public Schools, speaking about Accounting and the importance of financial planning, no matter your career.
