community for one of our annual awards! 

Each year, we receive nominations so we may recognize deserving businesses (large and small) and individuals at the Midstate Chamber’s Annual Meeting, Awards, and Dinner.

Lifetime Achievement: Large and Small Business Awards Nomination Criteria
Eligibility: Midstate Chamber member business in good standing
The following criteria may be used in your nomination:
Innovation: business expansion, investment in technology, unique competitive strategy, ability to adapt to dynamic market forces; Community Relations: improving the business climate, job creation, investments which enhance the quality of life, government relations, environmental efforts; Customer Satisfaction: service, improved customer relations efforts, expanding market share; Employee Relations: exemplary labor-management relations, innovative employee benefits programs.

Lifetime Achievement: Community Partnership Awards Nomination Criteria
Eligibility: Anyone who lives or works in the Meriden area
Criteria: A person who shows dedication to the community, volunteerism without seeking personal gain, a high professional standard on community projects, or aids in community enhancement activities that have improved the quality of life in central Connecticut.

Excellence in Education Nomination Criteria
Eligibility: An individual or organization that lives or works in the Meriden area
Criteria: An individual or organization in the public or private sector who contributes to education or an educational institution or program to advance/expand our education system.

Special Achievement in Innovation Nomination Criteria
Eligibility: An individual or company who is a member in good standing.
Criteria: Leaders in industry - individual or company—who have done something new, extraordinary, or innovative in the last 18 months, including improvements, responsiveness to challenges, etc.
