Don and Diane Drust, owners and operators of the ShopRite Supermarkets in Meriden, have announced that they recently opened a new Polish deli, featuring fine quality Polish foods. According to Dan Macioce, Jr., the store manager, ShopRite featured a week of events including Mrs. T's Pierogi Buggy, store sampling and a giveaway of tickets to the Jimmy Sturr Polka Band. Also featured was a DJ playing polka music outside of the store. ShopRite Supermarkets is located in the Townline Square in Meriden.
