ShopRite of Meriden has just completed the "ShopRite for Education" program for school year 2003-2004. This is the second year ShopRite has offered the schools in its area the opportunity to receive their share of $20,000 worth of FREE educational equipment. "These teaching tools go right into the classrooms of our customers' children. Schools, parents and friends register their ShopRite frequent shoppers card to their school of choice. Every time they shop, the school earns points toward free teaching tools from our catalog of over 2,000 items. This program is a great way to enhance the education of our youth and thank our customers for their shopping loyalty," said Don Drust, owner of ShopRite of TownLine Square. This year's program will begin October 3, 2004 and end on April 30, 2005. This will take our total to $60,000 in FREE educational equipment for the schools in our community.
