Gulam Khan, PE, David Noyes and Andrzej M. Golka h ...

Gulam Khan, PE, of Norwalk, CT, is a senior electrical engineer. Mr. Khan has more than 20 years of experience in electrical engineering. Specifically, he has been involved in providing electrical engineering services associated with the design of power one-line diagrams, power distribution, short circuit calculations, coordination of circuit breakers, motors including variable frequency drives, lightning protection systems, life safety fire alarm systems and preparing specifications. He also has extensive experience designing lighting concepts for sport arenas, ballparks and auditoriums. He has also designed information technology LAN cabling infrastructure, category 5e/ 6, optical fiber cables, jacks and fire suppression system FM- 200 and emergency power system for data centers. Prior to joining BL Companies, he was a senior electrical engineer at Current Solutions in Elmsford, NY. In his new position, Mr. Khan's responsibilities will include designing and managing electrical engineering projects. Mr. Khan received a master's of science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Bridgeport, Bridgeport, CT. He also received a bachelor's of science degree in electrical engineering from Osmania University in Hyderabad, India. He is a licensed professional engineer in Connecticut.

David Noyes is a construction administrator. Mr. Noyes has 20 years of experience in construction. He has been involved in providing construction administration services associated with the design of school facilities. Mr. Noyes has expertise in the areas of quality control and building inspection. Prior to joining BL Companies, he was a construction administrator at Kaestle Boos Architects in New Britain, Connecticut. Mr. Noyes's responsibilities will include the coordination of contract documents during the construction phase; site visits for conformation to contract requirements; and the inspection for work quality.

Dennis Goderre, ASLA, AICP, manager, landscape architecture, has been named a principal at BL Companies. Mr. Goderre, who resides in Lebanon, has more than 14 years experience in the fields of landscape architecture and urban planning. He is responsible for the daily operations of the landscape architecture department as well as various facets of project design and management. His planning and design experience includes urban renewal strategies, mixed use development education, parks and recreation facilities, golf course and real estate development and conservation planning. Mr. Goderre earned a bachelor's of science degree in landscape architecture at the University of Connecticut, Storrs, CT. He is a certified planner, recognized by the American Institute of Certified Planners. He is also a registered landscape architect in Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia and West Virginia. Mr. Goderre is a member of the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Boards, American Society of Landscape Architects, American Planning Association, Connecticut Recreation and Parks Association and Congress of New Urbanism.
