The Augusta Curtis Cultural Center will be sponsor ...

February 13, 2006

The Augusta Curtis Cultural Center will be sponsoring the first annual Augusta Curtis Pro-Am on Thursday, June 22, 2006, at Hunter Golf Club in Meriden, CT. We are proud to announce that this year's Tournament Sponsor will be Meriden Hyundai. We wish to thank both Tod Moynihan and Bob Doyle of Meriden Hyundai for their support. This event will be held in conjunction with the Meriden Bicentennial. The ACCC is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering art, science, history, ethnic celebration, and sports in the City of Meriden and its environs. Located at the rejuvenated former Curtis Memorial Library, the organization was founded to develop awareness of cultural programs for the residents of Meriden and surrounding towns. To learn more about the Center's activities and programs, please visit our web site at www.curtisculturalcenter.com.

The Augusta Curtis Pro-Am will provide funding for the Center and its community activities. Sanctioned by the Connecticut Section of the PGA (Professional Golfers' Association), this event offers many levels of sponsorship as well as program ads. This is a wonderful opportunity for area businesses and individuals to support the arts, culture, and sports all at one time. Our hope is to be able to continue our journey with your help. The Pro-Am will be an exciting and unique golf event featuring a PGA professional playing in each foursome. The tournament is scheduled for 12:00 pm and will be in a shotgun format. Lunch, dinner, tee favors and gifts will be included for each participant. We sincerely hope that you will join us to support the arts and culture of Meriden and its surrounding communities. If you have any questions or would like more information, please call Staci Roy at 203-639-2856.
