The range and gun store begins summer hours May 10th through August 25th. Open Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. It's half price to shoot after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Smith and Wesson Days are May 21st and May 22nd. This is a special hands-on event where you can try before you buy and talk to factory representatives. The public is invited. Normal fees apply for shooting. On August 6th and 7th, Blue Trail Range will be hosting the shooting portion of the Nutmeg State Games. Athletes from all over Connecticut will gather to compete in shoulder to shoulder competition in air rifle, 3-position, smallbore rifle and prone smallbore rifle.
