Sat., Sep. 12 - The Meriden Green 10th Anniversary Celebration!
This is an INCREDIBLE collaboration with the City of Meriden, Twilight Concert Series and the Midstate Chamber of Commerce.

The following is what the day will look like (some items subject to change):
8:15 a.m.
- Flag Raising with Mayor and Meriden Veterans Honor Guard
8:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m.
- Meriden Farmer’s Market
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
- Midstate Chamber of Commerce Fall Showcase and Business Expo
- Set up for concert
- Breakdown of Meriden Farmer’s Market
1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
- Midstate Chamber of Commerce Fall Showcase and Business Expo
- Includes kids’ zone, with face painting, crafts, games AND the Eversource Efficiency Experience
1:00 p.m. – 1:45 p.m.
- America 250 Meriden Kids Parade
- Open to Meriden Public Schools students and their families
- Students, their parents, and siblings are invited
- Requirement: Dress patriotically!
- Optional: Decorate bicycles, strollers, and/or wagons
- Raffle: Each entrant is given a FREE raffle ticket for post parade drawings
2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
- Concert on the Green
- Amphitheater
- Approximate set times:
- 1:30 p.m. - Cessa & the Zach
- 2:15 p.m. - Los Cardonas
- 3:00 p.m. - Inner Groove (full band!)
- 4:30 p.m. 0 Orquesta la Yunquena (OLY Salsa)
- 6 - 7:15 p.m. - The Alpaca Gnomes
- Parking / Food / Logistics
- The Meriden Green offers free on-street parking; and our good friends at Community Health Center, 134 State St, Meriden CT are allowing overflow parking - but please respect spaces marked off for their operations - and please carry out what you carry in! Also, use discretion as no alcohol or smoking is allowed in the park.
