Starting September 16th, the Meriden Health Department will offer a free eight-week quit smoking support group. The group will meet on Tuesdays at the Meriden Health Department on 165 Miller Street from 12:00-1:00 p.m. The program will include behavior modification, social support, relaxation techniques and maintenance. A quit day is built into the program so that all participants will quit at the same time. Persons interested should contact Debbie Roman at 630-4104. Pre-registration is required.
