Announcing the Return of the Meriden Police Citizens Police Academy

Meriden Police Office Thomas Cirillo has announced the return of the Meriden Police Citizens Police Academy. Classes start Thursday, February 10, 2011 at 6:00pm at the Meriden Police Department Training Room and will continue for 8 weeks. Applications are available at the Meriden Police Department or call 203-630-6276. Application must be returned to Officer Cirillo by February 7, 2011. Class size is limited. Highlights of some of the classes include history of the Meriden Police Department, crime prevention, neighborhood associations, accident investigation, Supreme Court decisions, search and seizures, gang and group violence, drug recognition, DARE/GREAT/SRO's and court procedures.
