Meriden business have come together recently in support of the City's 25th Annual Daffodil Festival. A total of six businesses including The Village at Kensington Place have been named corporate sponsors of this year's event. Other sponsors include Cox Communications, Record-Journal, Castle Bank and Trust Company, Suzio York Hill Companies, and Fleet Bank. Corporate sponsors have made a contribution of $5,000 or more to the festival, that will attract 70,000 area residents and features more than 600,000 bright and beautiful daffodils. The Meriden Daffodil Festival offers activities and entertainment for adults and children of all ages including crafts, parades, rides, and live entertainment. The festival is being held on April 26 and 27 at Hubbard Park, West Main Street in Meriden.
