Gov. Malloy Proclaims 'Husky Weekend' in the State of Connecticut Urges State Residents to Show Their Husky Pride

Governor Dannel P. Malloy today announced that he is proclaiming Friday, April 4 through Sunday, April 6 as "Husky Weekend" in the State of Connecticut in honor of both the UConn men's and women's basketball teams playing in the NCAA Final Four tournament."UConn again is the only school in the nation to have both our men's and women's basketball teams reach the NCAA Final Four, and for that we are incredibly proud," Governor Malloy said. "This weekend, I urge Connecticut residents to put on your blue and white and show the nation how excited we are for our hometown teams."
