MidState Medical Center celebrated the accomplishments of its employees at its 10th annual Employee of the Year and Team of the Year recognition event in May.Nora Landry, manager from Cancer Care, was awarded "Employee of the Year" and Information Services took home "Team of the Year" honors.
The awards were presided by COO, Jeffrey Flaks and President and CEO, Lucille Janatka. Landry was described by her peers as friendly, caring, honest, gracious, respectful and as someone who cares deeply about her staff and her department's patients.
Described by one nominator as the "little team that could," Information Services was chosen as MidState's "Team of the Year." A partial list of adjectives which nominators used to describe Information Services included: personable, professional, accommodating, efficient, considerate, patient and affable.
