Our Local United Way Holiday Programs Help Our Local Communities

It is time again to think about our Holiday Programs - in particular, Adopt-A-Family and the Giving Tree programs.The Adopt-A-Family program has been so successful in the past thanks to all of our community participation. We would like to continue that tradition again this year. Let's come together again to support those in need this holiday season and make their wishes come true! Wish lists provided by qualified families will be used as a guideline only. Donors will be asked to make the children's needs a top priority starting with clothing, followed by toy requests. Donors may provide additional gifts for family members but are not required to do so.
The United Way of Meriden and Wallingford will be distributing tags to agencies for this year's Giving Tree at Westfield Meriden Mall. In order to share the holiday spirit with families in our community, please spread the word about our Giving Tree program this year. We are looking forward to sharing the goodness of the holiday season with many families in our community.
