JC Penney raises over $10,000 for United Way of Meriden and Wallingford. Steven L. Cason, JCPenney store manager, and Linda Aguiar, U.W. Campaign Coordinator, are very proud of the store associates and staff at JCPenney, Meriden, who contributed to our United Way 2005 Campaign fundraisers. Bake sales, salon cut-a-thons, and dress down days netted over $700, and combined with our payroll deduction pledges, and our store gift, we were able to present the United Way of Meriden-Wallingford with over $10,000. It is truly a great feeling to help such a worthy cause. United Way supports more than 25 agencies in the Meriden and Wallingford Community.
