On Thursday, March 4, 2004 the United Way of Meriden and Wallingford will honor the many outstanding supporters and volunteers at their annual Community Service Awards. The Volunteer Center will give out special awards recognizing volunteers for their commitment to our communities.Meriden Mayor Mark Benigni and Wallingford Mayor William W. Dickinson will attend to present the outstanding company awards recognizing Cuno, Inc., Bristol-Myers Squibb and Webster Bank for their excellent corporate and employee fundraising efforts.
Once again, the event will be hosted by Bristol-Myers Squibb on Research Parkway in Wallingford. The evening will kick-off with a reception at 5:45pm and be followed by the official award presentation program at 6:15pm.
