Bruce Eagleson, manager of Westfield Shoppingtown ...

Bruce Eagleson, manager of Westfield Shoppingtown Meriden for the past 12 years, has been promoted to vice president of management/East. With this comes the responsibility for the chain's operations in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York and North Carolina. According to Mr. Eagleson, he will oversee the management of seven malls, including four in Connecticut and one in each of the three other states. One of his tasks will be participating in the expansion of Independence Mall in Wilmington, N.C. Previous to his experience with Westfield Shoppingtown, Mr. Eagleson was employed with the Meriden Square, the Old Saybrook Board of Education and the Kmart Corporation. The Chamber thanks him for many years of co-operation and wishes him the best on his new assignment.
