Ion Insurance Donates to Acts 4 Ministry, Inc.

Ion Insurance Corp., a full-service independent insurance brokerage affiliated with Ion Bank, presented Acts 4 Ministry, Inc. with a check for $755, which was raised from their Quotes for a Cause program. The program was created to help local Connecticut charities every month by making a donation of $5 for every new insurance quote provided. A different local charity is selected each month."Ion Insurance is very excited to participate in the Quotes for a Cause program", said David Drescher, President & CEO, Ion Insurance. "As a local insurance agency, we believe that giving to local non-profit organizations is a great way to thank the community for helping us become who we are today".

It was acquired by Nutmeg Financial Mutual Holding Co., the precursor to Ion Financial MHC, in 2005. Its name was changed to Ion Insurance in the fall of 2013.
