KINARD JOINS LIBERTY BANK

November 23, 2010

MIDDLETOWN, CT � Arelis Kinard has joined Liberty Bank as a mortgage loan officer in the bank's Originations group. She is responsible for originating residential mortgages in the Meriden area and will be working out of Liberty's new Meriden branch at 852 East Main Street beginning in mid January.

Kinard brings 10 years of residential mortgage experience to her new position, having worked and managed at Accurate Financial, LLC in New Britain. She specializes in helping first-time homebuyers seeking a CHFA, FHA, or VA loan, construction loans and loans for investors. She is also fluent in Spanish.

She is a resident of New Britain and a UConn graduate with a Masters in Social Work. Kinard has very deep roots in her community and is an advocate for education in homeownership and financial literacy. Kinard plans to bring her leadership and community organization skills to Meriden with the goal of providing good neighborhood service.
