October Events at Gallery 53

September 10, 2013

Gallery 53, 53 Colony St. Meriden, will be holding a Members Art Show October 6 - November 9. A variety of art forms and media will be on exhibit. Non-members are welcome to submit art work for display. Receiving is September 27 from 12 - 4 and September 28 from 10 - 2. An opening reception will be held on Sunday, October 6 from 1 - 3 P.M., the public is invited to attend.

The knitting club will meet on the 2nd and 4th Friday of the month in the upstairs conference room from 6 - 9 P.M. The Nutmeg Knitting Guild will meet in the conference room on the third Wednesday of each month, September through June, from 7 - 9 P.M. New art classes and workshops are forming. The staff at Gallery 53 will work with individuals, groups and companies to organize private classes or workshops. Gallery 53 is seeking the donations of wooden chairs and stools and small benches, either kitchen, dining, or children's for an upcoming art project; to donate call Gallery 53.
