Foundation Hires Coordinator to Work with Small Businesses

MERIDEN -- Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut has hired Sharon Sudusky for the new position of business coordinator. Her responsibilities include meeting with members of the business community to solicit their ideas for fixing the health care system. She will work to ensure that small businesses have a voice in developing a plan for quality, affordable health care in Connecticut.Ms. Sudusky, who has more than 15 years of experience in sales and marketing, will primarily focus on working with small businesses. Her duties include helping business groups develop initiatives and resource materials to become informed and more involved in the grassroots health care reform movement underway in the state.
Prior to joining the foundation, Ms. Sudusky was a corporate sales executive for the New Haven County Cutters baseball team. An ambassador for the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce for 10 years, she also serves on the board of directors of the Rotary Club of New Haven and has been named one of the "Twenty Noteworthy Business Women" by New Haven Business Times.
