Susan Moore became Program Director of the agency in September of 2000. Girls Inc. is a United Way agency serving boys from the ages of 2 to 12 and girls from the ages of 2 to 18. It offers educational, physical, social, emotional and recreational developmental opportunities. Ms. Moore received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Southern Connecticut State University. Her post graduate study in Business has been completed at the University of New Haven. She has also received a certificate in Web Page on Design. She had served at Girls Inc. as a pre-school teacher and program instructor. Girls Inc. of Meriden is one of 130 affiliates across the United States. They are a national organization with headquarters on Wall Street in New York and have been in existence over 80 years.
