Sister Catherine Mary Clarke, FSE, was recently awarded her license as a Clinical Social Worker. Sister, a Franciscan Sister of the Eucharist, serves Franciscan Home Care and Hospice Care in Meriden, Connecticut. Sister Catherine Mary returned from Rome, Italy, where she founded a hospice care program and worked at the Vatican Library. Prior to all of this, she was a social worker for Gaylord Hospital. Sister received an MSW from the University of Connecticut and became a Franciscan Sister of the Eucharist in 1986. As the agency's social worker, she is responsible for serving individuals and families in both the home health care and hospice care programs. She is a member of the Interdisciplinary Team for Franciscan Hospice Care. Franciscan Home Care and Hospice is a non-profit organization, licensed by the State of Connecticut.
