Regina Childers joins the Arc of Meriden-Wallingford

Regina Childers joins the Arc of Meriden-Wallingford as the new Director of Employment Services. She previously worked as the Regional Coordinator at Catholic Charities in Hartford and New Haven. After several interviews, it was clear that Regina's extensive experience and knowledge of community resources and government agencies made her an outstanding choice for this position. Regina has over 15 years experience in human services, social work and case management. She completes the Arc Management Team of highly professional experts, providing person centered services to people with developmental disabilities and their families throughout Connecticut.Regina brings a range of skills to the Arc including management and mentoring; job education and coaching; social skills and community connections; and overall support to the individuals served, employees, families, and community members. Her talents and abilities resulted in a successful employment program for under privileged people living in urban communities. It is the opinion of Regina's previous director that her role was absolutely crucial in driving that program to continual improvement and advancement.
Throughout her career, Regina maintained positive staff moral, offering motivation through creative and innovative ideas. Regina officially begins her first week as the Director of Employment Services for Arc of Meriden-Wallingford, Inc. on Monday, June 24th, 2013.
