Cuno, Inc. has reported record worldwide sales of $62.8 million for the third quarter ending July 31st. This represents an 11% increase during the same period in 1999. Mark G. Kachur, chairman and chief executive officer, noted that the third quarter results reflect continued strong worldwide growth in their potable water business and further performance improvement in their international operations led by particularly strong growth in Japan. Net income for the third quarter increased 13% from 1999 and fully-diluted earnings per share for the third quarter were a record 30 cents as compared with the same quarter 1999.
