Captain Doris Gonzalez of our local Meriden chapter reports that the Salvation Army is providing needed services in several states due to the recent disaster caused by the hurricanes. You may contribute monetary donations to the Salvation Army and they are also looking for volunteers to travel to the devastated areas. Let us not forget, also, that the local chapter also provides services locally to those in need here in Meriden. Due to the increased need in other states, they are finding that local donations are decreasing. To donate to our local chapter you may call 203-235-6532.
