White Way Cleaners in Wallingford and Yalesville recently celebrated their 85th anniversary, announced Tom Grasser, president; Frank Maresca, Sr., treasurer; and George Grasser, secretary. Also, two employees were recognized for service and excellence. Cindy Jackson, manager of the North Main Street Ext. store, received the Award of Excellence from the Clothing Care Council of Washington, DC. She has been with the firm for over 28 years. She has received a Master Spotter Award, a Higher Level of Learning Award, a Certified Environmental Dry Cleaner Award and Community Service Partner Award. Debbie Tietjen has been with the firm for over 20 years. She provides full service alterations and tailoring at the Yalesville store. White Way Cleaners provides dry cleaning, laundering, uniform rental service, mat rental service, home pickup and delivery service, and business pickup and delivery service. "The company prides itself in using the state-of-the-art equipment and Sanitone cleaning products to produce an excellent product," said Grasser. White Way Cleaners is located at 341 Church St. in Yalesville, 271 Hall Ave. in Wallingford and 857 North Main St. Ext. in Wallingford. - Record Journal, 5-15-07
