Rushford Foundation receives first donation from "Promotions for Prevention" program

The Branding Company recently established "Promotions for Prevention," a corporate giving program in partnership with the Rushford Foundation. Under this program, the Rushford Foundation receives a portion of the proceeds from The Branding Company's new sales. The company specializes in providing diverse promotional products to businesses and organizations in Connecticut including unique corporate gifts, awards, and customized apparel.

"It was a great feeling to write out the first check to Rushford. The organization is doing some great work in our towns and we are pleased to be a part of it. As a family-run business with roots in the community, it's important for us to give back," stated President, Patrick Muli.

"We are very appreciative for The Branding Company's support of our prevention programs as they are critical to creating and maintaining healthy communities," said Rushford President and CEO Jeff Walter. "The first donation was received in October and will be used to help expand and enhance prevention services for youth in both the Meriden and Wallingford communities."

The Rushford Foundation is the fund-raising entity for Rushford Center Inc., a not-for-profit behavioral healthcare organization that provides prevention, treatment and recovery services to more than 12,000 Connecticut residents each year.
