A special "THANK YOU" is extended to Loretta Edson Parisi, owner of Ret's Place - A Barber/Styling Shop. Loretta contacted Scott Haney of WFSB Channel 3 in December and suggested that he visit Meriden and incorporate our city into the station's weekly piece, "Every Town Tells A Story". The piece aired on Friday, January 9th at 5:30 p.m. and included many Meriden landmarks, many of them members of the Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce! Mr. Haney visited Thompson Candy, Augusta Curtis Cultural Center, DeQuaine Museums, Ted's Restaurant, Solomon Goffe House and Hubbard Park.
