John W. Jahne Joins Nutmeg Financial, MHC as Chief Information Officer

John W. Jahne has joined Nutmeg Financial, MHC as Chief Information Officer. In this role, he is responsible for all information technology, information security and facilities for Nutmeg Financial, MHC, and its wholly-owned subsidiaries Naugatuck Savings Bank and Sutherland Insurance Group.

"John brings a wealth of information technology knowledge to our organization and we are fortunate to have him join our team," said Deborah Wheelahan, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. "He will play a fundamental role in the continued growth and performance of our organization by managing our complex information technology needs."

Most recently, Jahne was Chief Information Officer at Savings Bank of Danbury in Danbury, CT and previously held the position of Vice President for Human Resources and Operations at Webster Bank in Waterbury, CT.

Jahne received a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Computer Science from Fairfield University. He is active in the community as a coach for YMCA Basketball and Simsbury Little League. He was previously chair of the Webster Bank Mentoring Committee, a mentor through the Governor's Prevention Partnership and a Big Brother for Nutmeg Big Brothers Big Sisters.

A native of Southington, CT, Jahne resides in Simsbury with his wife Catherine and sons William, Owen and Aidan.
