Area Realtors Visit Meriden Public Schools
January 5, 2011
On December 9, 2010, area realtors from surrounding towns visited Meriden Public Schools for the morning. The event entailed an introduction by the school district's new superintendent, Dr. Mark D. Benigni. Dr. Benigni also highlighted district initiatives, technology, and the district's innovative teaching methods during his talk. The event also featured a visit to three of the twelve district schools. Realtors were able to see a glimpse of the school day at Platt High School, Lincoln Middle School, and Franklin Elementary School. Each school emphasized their unique programs, technology, and facilities. The event was a collaboration between Meriden Public Schools, The Greater Meriden Chamber of Commerce, and Liberty Bank.
