The first-ever offering of this class in Meriden begins February 3, 2009 and meets weekly thereafter.

Parents are offered two phases of training: 1. A retreat on January 31, 2009 to develop group cohesion and define mission.; 2. Twelve sessions to build skills in partnering with schools to improve education.; Selection: Parents will be selected for each class with consideration given regarding how their participation will enhance diversity, strength and learning for the group as a whole. Interviews will start in November. Only 20 parents will be selected for this class.
