Don Drust, owner of our local Shop Rite of Meriden was recently awarded the Top Employee Award for 2007 by Connectability, an organization that deals with hiring individuals who are either mentally or physically challenged. Don was recognized for his unending leadership and accomplishments in hiring and promoting people with disabilities in the workplace. He is also celebrating 10 years this summer as being a member of our local community. Don is a fine understanding example for all businesses to follow. Congratulations Don!
