Beginning October 15, the Meriden Health Department will be running a free seven-week quit smoking seminar. The program will be held on Mondays at the Meriden Health Department on 165 Miller Street from 6-7:30 p.m. The program will include behavior modification, social support, relaxation techniques and maintenance. A quit day is built into the program so that all participants will quit at the same time. Interested persons should contact Debbie Roman at 203-630-4104. Pre-registration is required.
