The City of Meriden Health Department is recruiting 500 volunteers to be available in the event of a manmade or natural disaster.If you are interested in signing up, you must complete a form and return it to the Health Department. To obtain a form, contact the Health Department. You can fax or mail it following the details on the form. Or you can email your completed form to the Health Department, to either Mike Pirro, mpirro@ci.meriden.ct.us, or Beth Vumbaco, bvumbaco@ci.meriden.ct.us.
If you have questions contact Mike at 630-4240 or Beth at 630-4220. Hopefully we'll never have a disaster, but it is very important to be prepared, just in case. Fill this out today, and share with others who may have an interest.
