City of Meriden Announces Meriden Match Program!

Are you a business owner looking for a downtown location or a downtown property owner looking for a commercial tenant? Then the Meriden Match program may be able to help!

The City of Meriden is pleased to announce the start of the Meriden Match Program! This program is designed to provide forgivable loans up to $10,000 to commercial property owners and business owners located in Meriden's Transit Oriented Development (TOD) District and other eligible areas. These loans, which are funded through the City's Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program, can be used to improve exterior fa�ades and for small business start up costs and interior fit out costs. Property owners and business owners applying for the program together can receive up to $20,000. Applicants will be required to provide matching funds in order to qualify.

Interested applicants are encouraged to submit a pre-application to the City of Meriden by 4pm on Friday, December 1st, 2017.
