Congratulations and a fondest farewell are in order for author, educator, editor, Chamber Board member and City Manager Roger L. Kemp as he leaves the position of City Manager of Meriden for the City Manager job in Vallejo, California. Roger has served for three mayors, 24 City Council members and some 58,000 residents since coming to Meriden in August of 1993. He said the atmosphere and the people he worked with at City Hall would be tough to find in Vallejo or anywhere else he may go in the future.
