Christmas is a time for giving, when we purchase presents for sweethearts, spouses, children and friends. It is also one of the most difficult financial times for the Meriden Humane Society. While Christmas stockings are being filled for that of mankind our four legged counterparts are all but forgotten. We at the Meriden Humane Society are hoping you will extend your Christmas list to include the pets at the shelter. These lovable and homeless animals are not asking for expensive outrageous gifts, just a decent meal on their dinner plates. Please ask your employees, family and friends to make the following contributions: Friskies cat food - no seafood please; Purina dry cat food; Alpo or Pedigree dog food - wet only - please no dry; Cash to help with medical care costs.
