Open DOHR Certified Nurse Assistant Trainiing Program to Begin

Women and Families Open DOHR Employment Training Program will be offering their Certified Nurst Assistant program. The Certified Nurse Assistant career track will prepare you for entry level positions in providing basic patient and resident care. You will learn to report vital patient information including temperatures, pulses and blood pressures as well as h ave direct patient contact assisting with daily activities such as bathing, walking and eating. The Program Includes: Certified Nurse Assistant Training, Career/Education Counseling, Work Experience Opportunities, Employment Skills Workshops, Job Placement Assistance, and Basic Skills Tutoring Services. All course materials provided include: scrubs, gait belt, and watch. Day Sessions at Middlesex Community College in Middletown run from March 14th through Aoril 27th, 2018 on Wednesday's & Friday's from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Additional hours for labs & clinical required. CT State license upon completion of certificate training & passing the State exam.For more enrollment information, please call 203.235.9297 ext. 127.
