Fall 2017 Course Schedule for Open DOHR Employment Training Program

The Women and Families Center Open DOHR Program is offering the following Employment Training Programs from October through December 2017.- Family Literacy - Monday thru Thursday's from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. - Develop English language skills to support your child's education, for parents of a 3 to 5 year old child, child wil be enrolled in a pre-school or school readiness program, School Readiness Program available on site
- ESL/Civics - Tuesday & Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm - Develop reading, writing, speaking, and numeracy English skills, prepare for U.S. citizenship and Immigration interview test, Optional Customer Service and Sales Certificate Training on Monday & Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm
- Customer Service & Sales Certification/I-BEST - Tuesday & Thursday from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm and on Friday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am - Develop Customer Service and Sales Skills, improve reading, math, and study skills, for students pursuing a GED or High School Diploma.
These programs are free to attend. Students must be at least 17 years old. For more information or to register for a class, please contact Crystal Carter at 203.235.9297 ext. 128. Classes are held at Women & Familes Center, 169 Colony St., Meriden.
