Future leaders will meet with today's leaders during The National Youth Leadership Conference meeting in Washington, D.C. Administrators at Horace C. Wilcox Technical High School nominated David Morneau to attend a 6-day conference which is sponsored by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council and will host 350 students from around the country. According to Michael Lindsay, the council's executive director, the conference provides students to distinguish themselves as tomorrow's leaders. Students will participate in leadership skill-building activities. Mr. Morneau, who is a junior at Wilcox studying hotel technology, is a member of the National Honor Society and the Vocational Industrial Club of America. His time after school is spent on playing on the soccer, rifle and tennis teams. In his spare time, he bowls with the New Haven County Traveling All-Stars and works week-ends at T-Bowl Lanes. A former Boy Scout, he earned his Eagle Scout badge by cleaning up the VFW post in Yalesville. Wilcox Director Benjamin Foster noted that Mr. Morneau is highly-motivated, out-going and tremendously-skilled---someone who goes beyond what's required to get the job done.
