Arthur I. Erickson has been elected secretary of the Connecticut Funeral Directors Association. He is a licensed funeral director at Beecher & Bennett Flatow Funeral Home, which has been owned by his family for three generations. The company was established in 1894 and includes the location at 48 Cook Avenue in Meriden as well as locations in both Hamden and West Haven. Mr. Erickson became a funeral director in 1985 after receiving degrees from the New England Institute of Mortuary Science in Boston and Quinnipiac College in Hamden.
