Barker Specialty Sponsors Winning Car in Atlantic Championship Race

Barker Specialty Company is proud to announce the victory of racing star Jonathan Summerton in the Atlantic Championship Mazda Formula X presented by Cooper Tires on Saturday, June 13, 2009. Barker Specialty Company sponsored Summerton's No. 19 race car during the Mazda Formula X doubleheader at New Jersey Motorsports Park."I am very excited to work with Barker Specialty Company and look forward to showing that Barker is a winning company," said Jonathan Summerton on Friday, prior to the race. Summerton also scored his second pole position of the 2009 Cooper Tires Presents The Atlantic Championship Powered by Mazda season on June 12th, earning him the front spot at Saturday's race. Summerton's win on Saturday now puts him in second place point standing for the season. "Barker Specialty Company would like to congratulate Jonathan Summerton on a winning weekend. We are happy to support Jonathan and wish him the best in his upcoming races," commented Gerry Barker, President of Barker Specialty Company.
