Once the 15,000-square-foot addition to Barker Character, Comic & Cartoon Museum is completed next year, the California Raisins will be moving into town! According to Herb Barker, it will be the only California Raisin Museum in the world. It will be filled with original clay models, cartoons and memorabilia from the very popular advertisement campaign for raisins. Visitors to the museum will learn the Claymation process that made the clay raisins dance, smile and wink. Mr. Barker, who still does not charge admission to the museum, chose the California Raisins because the cartoon is appropriate for families.
