Pyramid Technologies Sponsored a Very Successful Book Drive

Pyramid Technologies sponsored a book drive in conjunction with the United Way of Meriden-Wallingford and Literacy Volunteers of Greater New Haven. What made this event so successful was the help of Prospect's Girl Scout Troup # 64106. Under the leadership of Corrine Lacy, a former Pyramid employee and owner of MLC Kitchens of Prospect, the troop posted over 3,000 flyers throughout the town and held a book drive on Saturday, November 13. The response was overwhelming with over 1,000 books collected. "I am so proud of the girls in Prospect Girl Scout Troop 64106. They took the need for books for children to heart and did everything possible to make the drive a success. They posted notices in every business in Prospect and sure every student in Region 16 received a flyer. The outpouring of support by our community was unbelievable and truly appreciated." - Corrine Lacy, Troop 64106 Leader
