Our 10 year old Meriden Raiders football team (my son is a player, I am an Asst. Coach) has won the New England Regional Championship yesterday and are headed to the National Championship in Kissimmee, FL from December 2-11. As you may read in the link below, there is a substantial cost to sending the team and coaches. Since, I am the Chamber Treasurer, I was asked by the Raiders to help handle any donations that come from Chamber Members so that we can track where our donations are coming from. My contact information is 203-631-0940 (cell) and mnowicky@yahoo.com.You can also drop off any donations at the Connex Credit Union office located at 533 South Broad Street or the Midstate Chamber of Commercer office on 3 Colony St. In downtown Meriden.
On behalf of the Meriden Raiders 10U REGIONAL CHAMPOINS for 2016, we thank you in advance for any support you may be able to provide. Also, thank you for the great turnout yesterday. It looked like a prequel to the Stoddard Bowl that takes place this Thursday.
