Doreen Brown-Wade Named Hospice Director for Masonicare Home Health & Hospice

Ms. Brown-Wade brings to Masonicare many years of management and hands-on experience in the home health and hospice field. Prior to joining the organization's leadership team, she served as administrator for Home Health Care Services LLC in Connecticut, VNS of Southern Connecticut, and hospice manager for VNA Care Network and Hospice in Dedham, Massachusetts. In her role as Hospice Director, Ms. Brown-Wade is responsible for the management and administration of all organizational hospice services provided by Masonicare Home Health & Hospice (MHH).

In announcing the appointment, Susan Adams, Regional Vice President and Administrator for MHH, said, "Doreen's extensive experience, outstanding leadership qualities and strong advocacy for quality hospice care are important attributes as she leads our hospice team. We're pleased to have her on board as we continue to provide our expert hospice care and wide range of support and counseling services to patients and their families throughout Connecticut."

Ms. Brown-Wade received a BS Degree in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst and a Masters in Business Administration from Anna Maria College. She is a member of the National Association of Female Executives and a member of the Connecticut Association for Health Care Quality. She and her husband, Dan, are residents of Trumbull.
