Maria Trella-Drauss, for most her life, received training, friendship and guidance from Girls, Inc. Now she is ready to give back. As the new Girls, Inc., Executive Director, she took a step back into familiar territory in taking on her new position this month. Mrs. Trella-Drauss first entered Girls, Inc. when she was seven. Now, as a 22-year veteran, she has replaced retired Executive Director Maureen Bilger. Maria became Assistant Director in 1997 and is pursuing graduate studies in social services business management at Southern Connecticut State University.
