Girls, Inc. hosted the Sixth Annual Pre-school Art ...

Girls, Inc. hosted the Sixth Annual Pre-school Art Show, which is designed to give pre-school students the opportunity to show off their artwork. As Susan Moore, a pre-school teacher, pointed out that at times it's difficult for students to feel big and important, and this show gives them the chance to take pride in themselves at a very young age. The Lincoln Street building was transformed into outer space for the show. Pre-schoolers participated in constructing a lunar landing, space helmets, command modules, planets, pop-up alien puppets and magnetic space walks. Some of the featured artists included Jillian Bedard, Emily Flynn, Rachel Gumlaw, and Jimmy Park.
