Workforce Alliance Exceeds Performance Goals in 2008-2009 Year

Bill Villano, Executive Director of the Workforce Alliance, just received the performance outcomes for last program year (FY 08-09) and for the fourth straight year, the Workforce Alliance has lead the state in the 16 performance measures that are tracked. Vilano said "I want to thank the staff for their hard work and dedication to providing quality programs and services to the job-seekers and businesses of the region."On one of the measures, our regional workforce development board "Met Expectations" and on the other fifteen measures, the Workforce Alliance "Exceeded Expectations" according to the Department of Labor standards.
A heartfelt congratulations goes out to the Workforce Alliance staff as well as to all of the employers, employees and those seeking employment in our 30 town region.
